WHERE: Burlingame City Hall, 501 Primrose Road
Team up with Supervisor Dave Pine and Mayor Ricardo Ortiz to support the "Costumes for Kids" Drive.
This program relies upon community donations to serve the children and distributes Halloween costumes to hundreds of homeless, low-income, and foster youth in San Mateo County so that they too can enjoy the holiday. To support this effort Supervisor Pine and Mayor Ortiz have placed two donation barrels at Burlingame City Hall. Costumes can be dropped off M-F between 9a and 5p.
What can be donated:
New and gently used costumes in any size- infant through adult
Accessories- face paint, scarves, glasses
What cannot be accepted:
Wigs or masks (unless brand new)
Plastic guns, knives or anything that depicts violence
Other clothing items that aren't specifically costumes
All donations are tax-deductible. A self-reporting receipt is available at the drop-off site. If a monetary donation is preferred, please make checks payable to: "Children's Fund" and send to:
